Журналист, чью роль играет Джеймс Кэгни, нарочно принижает значение этой помощи, когда начальник поручает ему своего племянника, но он возражает только затем, чтобы действовать эффективнее: сам он прекрасно знает, скольким обязан старику, который его приютил.
